These Super Jeeps are powerful, all-terrain vehicles designed to tackle the rugged Icelandic landscape. The Super Jeep excursions are conducted in very small groups (up to 8 travelers, depending on the vehicle) with a driver who is an expert in Iceland’s mountainous region and Landmannalaugar in particular.
Landmannalaugar is a colorful mountain reserve in the southern part of central Iceland. The reserve attracts hikers every summer and offers beautiful trails across the island. The reserve is part of one of the world’s famous trails, the Laugavegur-Thórsmörk Trek.
In addition to Landmannalaugar, the tour passes through many other stunning points, including the breathtaking Sigöldugljúfur Canyon, the Hekla volcano, and more.
One of the main advantages of this tour is its availability throughout the year. Unlike other vehicles not authorized to access the reserve in non-summer months, the Super Jeeps are permitted and safe for travel year-round.
