After being picked up from Icelandair Hotel Myvatn, you will begin your journey to Askja and the vast volcanic field Holuhraun. The drive through the desolate highlands, with its infinite spaces, immediately gives travelers a sense of adventure. The views throughout the tour seem like they were taken from the moon. In addition to the Askja volcano and its surrounding area, you will also reach Drekagil Canyon, the eruption site of the Holuhraun volcano, the Dyngjusandur desert, the Gljúfrasmiður waterfall, and other hidden and magical places.
